Origin and History of Dyson Painters:
The Dyson Painters story goes back to 1964 when Southern Painters and Decorators was first registered by Alan Dyson and his two partners, Tom Hayes and Spike Marshal.
David Dyson (Alan’s son) started his apprenticeship in 1973 for Southern Painters and Decorators and completed his apprenticeship 4 years later. He continued to work as a Tradesman Painter for Southern Painters until 1982, when he decided to make the break and start working in a partnership with his wife Patti.
They had a successful business trading under the name D & P Dyson Painting Contractors until 1996 when David and his father Alan formed a company called Dyson Painters Pty Ltd. When Alan retired, David took over the ownership.
Dyson Painters has five decades of painting expertise in Southern Tasmania. The business is regarded as one of the best professional painting companies in Tasmania.
